Bijlard International receives the CSR approval
The producer of glues and adhesives from Zoetermeer has yet another qualification: the CSR approval; this is an approval from the Municipality of Zoetermeer for companies with corporate social responsibility in their DNA.
Director Peter Bijlard received the approval from Margreet van Driel, the new councillor for Work and Income and Jan Iedema, councillor for Economic Affairs and Education.The CSR approval means, among other things, that CSR companies retain and stimulate employment for vulnerable groups, supervise personnel effectively and demonstrably, support goals in Zoetermeer, actively improve the entrepreneurial climate and seek cooperation with the municipality, education and other social parties.
The new applications are first assessed by the other companies that already have a CSR approval. Once the members agree, the request is forwarded to the Keurmerk Instituut that assess the company against the criteria.
